Architecture / Installation

FYI: Multisite local.php

There is an example of how to create db/local.php in db/tiki-db.php

Now that register_globals is off by default in PHP, the example is out of date.

Also, there is a slight syntax bug in the host array syntax (an equal sign instead of a =>).

My new example is:

Copy to clipboard
$host_tiki = 'localhost'; $api_tiki='adodb'; $db_tiki='mysql'; $dbversion_tiki='1.8'; $host_tiki = 'localhost'; $host_map = array( 'feu.org' => array( 'dbs_tiki' => 'tiki_cvs', 'tikidomain' => 'feu.org', 'user_tiki' => 'tiki_cvs', 'pass_tiki' => 'tiki_cvs_password' ), 'localis.org' => array( 'dbs_tiki' => 'tiki_localis', 'tikidomain' => 'localis.org', 'user_tiki' => 'tiki_localis', 'pass_tiki' => 'tiki_localis_password' ), ); if (isset($host_map[$_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"]])) { extract($host_map[$_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"]]); }

A context diff is attached (I think, although can't actually tell). If not, let me know and I can add the context diff to the post.

Damian,
If you mean that I should just add the context diff to the post directly, I can do that.

In fact, I can do that here...

If you mean that I could modify tiki-db.php directly, you might have to give me a quick pointer where to look for that...
