comments in wiki syntax

Is ther also a syntax to write comments in wiki, like in c, java or php

sample

Copy to clipboard

<?php
/* info  comment */
$name = 'Bush';  // this is a comment 
?>

I will generate templates with comments so that they are easier to use

In a .tpl file the syntax is

Copy to clipboard

{* This is a comment *}

In the wiki areas themselves there is a plugin on mods.tikiwiki.org called:

Copy to clipboard

{COMMENT()}This is the comment text{COMMENT}
