    • Long Session Id's (not friendly for S.E.)

    Hi,

    After testing my website using 02 search engine spider simulators, I notice that for every link
    I got a session ID appended to the url.

    PHPSESSID=72f0e22b62587c31ec72c2fa69dbcb2a

    Any ideas to how eliminate it?

    I solved the problem by putting the following in my main .htaccess file: -

    Copy to clipboard
    php_flag session.use_trans_sid off


    I guess there are lots of other places you could configure this option, but this worked for me.
