    Hi,

    i was wondering how to do the following:

    i have two wiki-sites. One local (using easyphp) and one on a remote website.
    I want to export my local pages to my website. I know i can do a dump but that would override all my pages inside my remote website i guess.

    can someone explain how to do a export of individual pages and import them on another tikiwiki-site ?

    Yo,

    The Dump is not a import/export option, Dump just creates a .tar of HTML exports.

    You would need to use the XMLRPC method via the Communications Centre, or manually through the databases.

    Also remember tiki_history table if you want to preserve the history records for those wiki pages.

    First of all: quick respone 😀
    i don't understand what u mean.
    where to find this XMLRPC method ?

    i don't care about history, i just need to export the current version and import this into the other wiki-site

    i already thought about the 'manual' option but it would be too much of a hassle to explain to others 😊

    Enable it on Admin->Features, then expand the Wiki menu and you'll see Send pages, Received pages options.

    Search for Communications in the page name for what is currently available in docs.

    Hi,

    Can this feature be used to send any documents prepared using OpenOffice.org in the wiki format? I mean, can I make a page using OOo or MS Word, run the WikitoWord macro and then send this page to my Tiki? If this is possible, please tell me how I can do this.

    Or, can pages be sent only from Tiki sites to other tiki sites?
