I have posted this question too and the answer is simply NOT possible. It seems intuitive enough that by assigning a group with Registered Permission it will also inherit the pre-assigned Basic permissions. Somehow it does not seems to work that way.... you have to phyiscally include that Basic permissions set. Maybe I am wrong but this is how it came across to me......I would be interested to hear others view and say I am wrong.
Tiki seems to have a very quirky way of setting permission for users and is also interested if someone can enlighten me too.
