It is important for TikiWiki to have a solid WYSIWYG editor, but integrating one isn't a trivial job. There are also other things that are important for TikiWiki, and unfortunately only a limited number of people have the skills and time to make these things happen.

What new features TikiWiki has isn't decided so much by "the Tiki team" (sure, we'd all love to have shiny new features), but rather it just depends on a person who has the skills and the time contributing them. (And then things need to be checked so that other features aren't broken or security vulnerabilities created, etc.) This project has a very open attitude about people getting involved, contributing code, etc. For people without these skills or time, well, I guess the same principles about getting what you want apply as elsewhere in life. 🎅
