Where is the username, db and password included in the script?

Hi,

I wonder if you could help me with this. I requested my webhosting service provider to upgrade my account and they are moving it to a different server. It is a shared-server webhostin service so the prefix of "compound" database names and usernames would be different depending on the accounts. For example:

Server 1

prefix1_dbname
prefix1_username

where prefix1 is unique for the individual accounts or the subdomains of each account in the shared server. My upgrade also involved a change in the prefix:

Server 2

prefix2_dbname
prefix2_username

What file in the script is used to store the information, so I can change the prefix properly?

My other programs include it in a config.php or some other file, but I have been looking and I cannot find its counterpart in Tikiwiki 1.9.2.

I thought the information may be in the "tiki-setup.php, but I cannot find it there, but no luck.

They may do server-to-server transfer sometime in the next few days.

Thanks.

db/local.php

Thanks Gary,

The password is encrypted in the database. Can I just provide the change of the prefix for the database-name and the username to the TechSupport and would that be enough to reconnect the script with the database. I am hesitant to give my password.

This is a related question that has always been in the back of my mind. Anyone who has access to the local.php would be able to read those sensitive information.

What is the lowest CHMOD permissions possible (000, 400, etc.) so that is is still accessible by the machine for the Tikiwiki to run but not readabe, nor executable nor downloadble by anyone else?
