Use Case:
Remote site uses http://foo.com/tiki/tiki-articles_rss.php?ver=2 in order to consume the list of articles

Clicking on the article <link> directs the user to the root directory on the machine (http://foo.com/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=101) instead of the sub-directory where it actually lives ((http://foo.com/tiki/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=101).

After searching I just can't find the setting that would cause the rss syndicator to insert the correct directory (/tiki/) instead of the root of the machine.
