SSO/Intertiki help

Folks,

I've been trying to get SSO setup in a farm of Tikis. Although the Tikis are happy enough individually, they don't want to talk to each other. I've tried doing this as LDAP, which sort of works. The problem is, although the documentation and screen suggest you should be able to create new users in the LDAP via Tiki, my study of the PEAR code suggests otherwise. Am I wrong about this? There's no addUser method in the LDAP.php, for instance... without which PEAR::Auth will simply return an unsupported function error. Is this my misconfiguration, or just the state of development?

So attempt two... I tried getting InterTiki to work. But I'm afraid the documentation doesn't describe the fields in the admin panel or how they should be used. I could really use some examples here. What I've done is set one Tiki as a server... which disconcertingly hid the server options section so I no longer see it. And a second as a client (or at least I think that what I did. I made the name field a simple label, host is localhost, port is 80, path...(I've tried a couple of things like the application context root, xmlrpc.php, and a few others), and groups I've tried 'Registered' and null.

Could someone kindly provide me a sample configuration information and field usage details?

Or should I be following a different path to get a shared sign on for these systems?

I'm grateful for any assistance you can lend me.

Thanks,
Colin Eby

This is starting to look like I bug, as well as a case of needed documentation. I'll continue to update this thread with what I learn.

Intertiki is lacking someone to document it properly. Besides, it sems to fail on some servers... (like in my case, also), due to mysterious reasons...
Good luck
