HOW CAN I RUN SETUP.SH?

Hello Friends,

I have installed TikiWiki at: http://www.abmgroup.biz and have configured every feature at Admin Home. But when I Clicked Admin Mods I got the following response at my browser:

" You need to run setup.sh :
./setup.sh $APACHEUSER all
Common Apache users are www-data, apache or nobody "

What does that mean? I have tried it with: http://www.abmgroup.biz/setup.sh but I was asked to OPEN or SAVE which I did not understand what I have to OPEN or what shall I SAVE? I am not a technical person but if guided then I will work fine.

I shall appreciate it very much if a fellow member can tell me the URL of the page from where I can learn more about this feature and how can I use that effectively.

Many thanks and best regards

setup.sh is a script that resets permissions for specific directories so that users can write to them. If your server runs Linux, you need to SSH (remotely login) into the server and run the script. Alternately (and I am not recommending), you could manually do the permission changes if you have a cPanel or similar web interface to the files on the server.

You need to make the directories that are used for mods writeable by the web server so you can upload the appropriate mods.
