Entire wiki blank! Help!!!

Hello. I just installed Tikiwiki a few days ago, and I ran into the blank screen. It's the entire wiki. No number of refreshes helps. It happened right when I tried to get Google Adsense going with this:
http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=Module+Adsense&highlight=adsense#commentQuestion
I also tried a couple of the fixes recommended in the first comment here:
http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=82Question
I don't see php.ini to modify, but I've emailed my host.

Anyway, anyone have advice? It's a bit upsetting to lose everything. When I look at the source on those pages, all I see is a couple snippets about Adsense. I don't normally work in PHP... so I am a bit of a disadvantage. I would welcome any advice! The site is at http://www.typeamom.net/wikiQuestion .

As a side note, just how the @!(*@)!* do you get Google Adsense to work anyway? I tried installing the JavaScript plugin, but got an error. Argh!!

As far as I know, the Adsense module that comes with Tiki doesn't work, and hasn't worked for quite a while. The comments on the Module Adsense wiki page referred to in your post point to a forum thread that discusses this (a long roundabout way to a solution, for sure). The alternative Adsense2Question module seems to work for people. I just edited the Adsense page here to point out the problem and will talk to somebody about the module in the Tiki package being fixed or dropped.

Even if things aren't displaying at your site, you haven't lost anything. The content is still in the database. What needs to be done is turn off or edit out the module that's causing the display problem and things will be back to normal. Where was the module? In a wiki page or in a side column?

Thanks for your help. As far as editing through the rollback mentioned above, I can't get anything but blank pages going to URLs, so that won't help. I did delete the module's files through FTP immediately when everything happened, but I'm not sure if there is a file to edit to be sure it's removed as a reference in modules. My only access now is to files through FTP. Do you know how I can be sure it's out of there?

Oh, and the module was in a side column, if that is helpful.

Thanks! What should I do to make it so they work?

See this postQuestion. One way, probably the easiest, is to delete the offending module by editing your database, via phpMyAdmin or some other tool. (You mention having ftp access only, but do you have direct access to your Tiki's database, via the domain Control Panel, if it's hosted, for example?)

Another way is to use the modified files mentioned in the referenced link make and access an admin modules page without side columns. (These files are kind of old now, but should still work.) This method uses ftp and web access only.

Thanks! I tried uploading the files for the wiki minus the side column, but I still get a blank page. I do have access to phpMyAdmin, but after this whole thing I'm a bit scared to mess around in there. I'm sorry if this is totally a stupid question, but I went into tiki_modules and I do see a reference to Adsense there. Is this what I delete? Is there more? Thanks yet again for your help!!!

OK, I deleted it from the database and now it works. What a relief, and thanks so much!!! Evil thing!! I must have tried a half dozen of the recommended fixes before it was really fixed.

I will try Adsense2, although I would prefer to just get that JS plugin to install... on to the next challenge.
