Re: Version 1.10
In view of the fact that version 1.10 already has the wysiwyg editor, it seems like it'd be a redundant effort to try incorporating one into 1.9.7 (not an easy job, from what I've been reading), especially since 1.10 will probably be stable and released within the next few months.
Maybe you can install 1.10 in a subdirectory and test how it works for you in the meantime (and upgrade early if possible — though in general it's a good idea to not use a cvs version in a production site).
