Default Time

Hoping someone can lead me into the right direction....

All of a sudden (probably coordinating somehow with Daylight Savings Time) the default time for anonymous users (not logged in) is showing UTC time, when I want to use Pacific Daylight Time.....

When users login it uses there timezone settings just fine....meaning that I have my TimeZone set to America/Los Angeles and see all the correct dates and times....

What is happening now is that when anonymous users look at calendars we have setup, it is showing all the "wrong" dates and times, meaning relevant to UTC times and not PDT time....

I have changed the settings within Admin (I am using 1.10.0b0) to default of America/Los Angeles...If I type date on my linux server it comes up with the correct time, and I think the UTC time is correct, it is just that tikiwiki now defaults to UTC time and not PDT...

Help!

Update. One clue I have that when I look within phpinfo and scroll down to where it states date I see DefaultTimezone is set to UTC? Is this where I should fix this?

I have a debian system so I tried to edit /etc/default/rcS and change UTC=no but it didnt seem to fix it...

Just an update. I actually think this is a linux issue (specifically I have Ubuntu)......

If I play around with it (it meaning timezone settings within ubuntu) I can get it to show the correct time (and timezone - America/Los_Angeles and not UTC) to users not logged in.....

but, if I click on anything it will immediately go to UTC time and stay there as a default.....I want the default timezone to be America/Los_Angeles for anonymous users....

anybody have any clues about this?
