thanks for that Rick, but i am not entirely sure if that is my problem here.

I know my password, and was just testing the feature. What i am more worried about is the blank email, and if it is going to be sending blank emails out everytime someone uses the forgot password.

that fix seems to me to be specific for only one user, so does that mean i will need to run that query every time, or will doing it the first time kick it into functioning properly?

Just tested it on another member, and got the same blank area..
