I'm also disappointed in the limitedness of 'score' in the current tikiwiki. The Ubuntu wiki forum (ModiModi) has a neat 'thanks' button that you can base score off of. This is great for awarding users fo relevant content and not for spam.

In my experience, you can use karma to vote for which topics are the most interesting, but you can't rank individuals baed on how many posts, quality of posts, etc.

FWIW the score vs karma article mentions that karma may be retired. I hope this is in light of some score enhancements that are planned...



FAQs do not have a good scoring method either. I would like it if users could get points for comments, suggesting questions, and additional points could be awarded if a suggestion is raised to a FAQ question.
