License page for copyright

Hi,

I'm using TikiWiki 2.2. As far as I understand an URL has to be entered into the "license page" field in Copyright sections of the Admin menu. I tried HTML (via a href tag) and Wiki (link in square brackets) links. Both didn't work properly in terms that strange things were displayed at the bottom of my wiki page. I didn't change anything else.

Does anyone have a clue what I have to enter in order to open the license page (it's http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ ) in a new window and display "Creative Commons License" as link text?

Thanks, Carsten

Pitty, that no one has a clue. As the behaviour looks like a bug to me, I'm going to file it into the bug database tomorrow or so.

Hi there,

I am not sure if my answer will help but I have just created the license pages myself.

In the admin/copyright feature "tiki-admin.php?page=copyright" simply enter a name (not a link) where is says License Page: and activate it to show in forums, articles and wiki.

So lets say that you name your license page say "General License" . If you now go to an article for example you will see at the end the message:

The content on this page is licensed under the terms of the General License . Click on the General License part and that will create for you a new page where you can enter the License terms. Save it and it is ready.

The link to the license is then automatically shown within all the selected content forums, articles and wiki plus you can link to it from any were on the site.

Hope that helps
