    That is kind of a general question, but here are some things to check:

    • Maybe the users table in your database is corrupt?
    • Is this happening with all, or just one user?
    • Are there any "special" characters in the username or password?
    • Is the sessions path in your php configuration valid?
    • Remind users that their username is CaSe SeNsItIvE.
    • If you're using remote authentication, is there valid connection?
