does tikiwiki support direct link? Posted by ejay 25 Nov 2008 20:59 UTC I mean, if the user type "page 1", tikiwiki can automatically redirect to "Actual page 1" page. Just as what wikipedia can do to redirect the link. I searched document with no luck. Appreciate it if anybody can give a hint.
Posted by hamdev 25 Nov 2008 21:17 UTC I think perhaps you want Copy to clipboard((page 1)) This will show a link to "page 1" and if you click on it, it takes you to the page called "page 1".
Posted by ejay 25 Nov 2008 21:29 UTC thanks hamdev for the reply. I know this page wiki link. Actually what I need is an automatic link redirection, which mean when you search, for example, "page 1" in the search box. wiki actually redirects you to another page, say "page 2". An example would be to search "direct link" in wikipedia, which goes directly to page "inline linking". It comes from page http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Direct_link&redirect=no
Posted by ejay 25 Nov 2008 22:09 UTC Well, I found a redirect plugin which can do the work here: http://doc.tikiwiki.org/PluginRedirect
