Module: since_last_visit_new Display

Hello,

I am currently using tikiwiki v1.9.11 and would like to configure the module "since_last_visit_new" to display all items by default.

I had attempted to look through the "mod-since_last_visit_new.php" file, however I am not familiar enough with php to determine what needs to be changed.

Could someone please provide me with information on what needs to be done?

Thanks,
Rick

I've been searching the forums a bit more, and it seems that the module is calling Java Script which provides the functionality to hide and display the items which are grouped within the "wiki pages changed," "new users" etc section headings.

Is there a way to prevent this module from using java script so that all items are displayed without requiring the user to have to click on each section heading?

It would be nice to have the all new items displayed by default as is done in the "Since your last visit" module of this forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about the specific details here, but the file to look at is probably templates/modules/mod-since_last_visit_new.tpl.

Thanks for the information Gary.

I must say that I am not overly familiar with coding, but I checked out the contents of the .tpl file that you had recommended, and did some google searching as well.

I found that the code is calling the java sript function toggle so I thought I'd test out what deleting this line in the mod-since_last_visit_new.tpl file would do:

{$slvn_item.count} {$slvn_item.label}

Unfortunately when accessing the wiki, the module still requires that the user toggle the "wiki pages changed," etc. headings. Now I tried to delete Internet Explorers cookies and Temp internet files, thinking that some wiki preferences were kept. But it still had the same effect.

I'm really at a loss as to what to do.

Sorry the deleted line was:

class="separator" href="javascript:toggle('{$tcname}');"> {$tracker.count} {$tracker.label}
