Re: Calendar for anonymous

Norm,

Also take a look at including a Google Map. I wrestled with Tiki Calendar for a long time and, though Tiki is very wonderful in so many ways, the calendar leaves a lot to be desired for people in AM/PM land (i.e. not 24hr time).

I popped the Google calendar in with an iFrame on a wiki page (and make an alternate calendar link in my menus). See www.myaurora.org. My implementation includes actually about 10 selectable calendars all displaying in one (Google will generate the Iframe code for you). Google also automatically generates a Google map for the event, and even e-mails the event to up to 500 people who can also RSVP -and they get a reminder a day before. It's also iCal compliant.

I'd like to see the Tiki calendar advance but it has not changed much for many years now and Google is way out in front. Plus users get that one page screen your talking about.
