How do I delete the comment line at the top

There is an comment line at the top of my tikiwiki site : "This is Tiki v1.7.4 -Eta Carinae- (c)2002-2003 by the Tiki community Wed 07 of Jan, 2004 12:59 UTC " How do I delete it?
Also at the bottom of the site it displays the time used to generate the page : "Page generated in 1.20 seconds" How do I turn that off as well?

Hi there!

You can do this 2 ways, firstly if you want to totally get rid of those sections, under Admin-> Features turn off the Top and Bottom sections.

If you want to replace them with your own text (for the top) and remove the text but leave/change the buttons (for the bottom) then turn on the Edit Templates feature in Admin->Features
Next example the Admin Menu and choose the Edit Templates

Choose either tiki-top_bar.tpl or tiki-bot_bar.tpl and click on its name, this will change to a text editing window, where you can use HTML to format what you want.

Hope it helps, if you have trouble, or want more details message me or post back

Damian

Thanks Damien! But now I have more serious problems. I have installed tikiwiki 1.7.4 and easyphp 1.7 on my windows box. Everything went well until I close my internet explorer browser or exit easyphp. When I start easyphp next time, then I can log in anymore, not even with admin password or any user account which I have created. All configuration and information has lost. I don't understand why, can you please help me out!!! I would really appreciate your help.
Thank you in advance!
