That code is to produce a menu like the navbar style here: http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/#sample4. The idea was to use the topbar menu custom code text area to enter something like div class="sf-navbar" {menu id=43 css=y type=horiz} /div (with the angle brackets around the div tags of course). This worked long ago but just trying again, it doesn't appear to work (at least with fivealive.css). I'd like to take a look at why it isn't working, but don't have time right now. Anyway, it only shifts the first child level to horizontal, not third and lower levels, as the superfish demo shows.
