    If you simply want to grab stuff from another database, you might look at the DB Report pluginQuestion and SQL pluginQuestion.

    I'm not sure about embedding PHP in a wiki page, but I know you can in a module by using:

    Copy to clipboard
    {php}
....


    I guess you could always embed the module in a page.
