    I worked it out ...
    Admin Groups > Edit Group "Registered"

    Copy to clipboard
    Users Information Tracker = "MyTracker"
    select field = 1-field1
Users Information Tracker Fields Asked at Registration Time = 1:2:3:4

    new form now looks like:

    Copy to clipboard
    Username:*
Password:*
Repeat Password:*
Email:*
Field1 (no input box)
Field2:*
Field3:*
Field4:*

    upon checking my Tracker, I now see:

    Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
    autofilled input2 input3 input4
    Reads: 396
