    Hello,

    I find that I can either create a public blog into which all user can post or else a private one where only I can post

    Can I create a blog and say only users who belong to group X can post to this blog?

    I am running 1.7.4

    Yes you can, sounds like you need to look into the TikiWiki permissions system. You might find the TikiMovies useful and the documentation on http://doc.tikiwiki.org
