Can Tiki Wiki accept data from phone and posting it on the wiki?

Can Tiki Wiki accept data from phone and posting it on the wiki automatically instead of manually clicking and inserting everything using the website?

For example the phone will gather some data using an app and send it to tiki database, then the wiki will display it out?

Help is much appreciated. Thank you

Hi,

just my mind at the stage of my eaxpearience:

I think we do not have such.

But I can imagine, that an app or s.th. similar could be developed using the mail-in feature.

It is possible to send articles and wikipages to Tiki via e-mail.

Cheers
Torsten

It could if there were a service to invoke it. Do you have a PBX system? If so it could be accomplished with some development time.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies.
I am afraid that I am new to tiki system.
I am a beginner at phone development.

I am developing a phone application that will help user to insert the required data/information and then post it on tiki wiki. But I am at a lost at the method required to get it into tiki database and post it up.

I dont think I have a PBX System.

Trackers can be a great way of extending tiki and the user system. If you can do some simple PHP or wiki scripting, try them. The tools I like best are tracker query and tracker tracker query template. You'll need to be in at least 9 though for them to be somewhat stable.

I am not familiar with tracker, but I will try and learn.

So what you are saying is, I can script it myself for it to get query from tiki database(After the phone sents data to the database)?
