    I believe the "using a poll" method is the way to go. 

    I'm not sure I understand the issue with attaching a poll to each page... I can't think of a way to have folks rate the page without having the poll on the page?

    One possible alternative... you could use a Tracker in a module. I believe there's a tracker field tha can auto-populate based on the page name. Then you would simply add the module once (i.e., in the right column) and it would appear for all pages. Not 100% sure on this, but it might work.
