    My hosting provider came preloaded with Tiki 8.3 on the Fantastico panel - but I'd like to upgrade to the more current version.

    We've already starting migrating data into 8.3, and I'm worried if I upload 14 through fetch into my wiki folder that we will lose all of the data we've moved and reformatted.

    Any advice or guides to help with my worries?

    The "data" for your Tiki is stored in the MySQL database. So simply adding the Tiki 14 files to your wiki folder won't erase any data (except for any customizations you've made).
