    • changeing user password

    A user has forgotten his password and I need to give him a new one.

    I do not have the opportunity to use an email reminder (server doesn't send email). In the admin area I need to give the old password to change to a new one....

    I tried changing the provpass in Users_users as described hereQuestion on a dummie user but it doesn't work. My dummie user has its original password.
    Any ideas?

    I tried it and (whew) it worked!

    Hey Chealer9, I was struggling to find this answer myself. I was stumped! I disliked the notion of having to ask a user to create a new account. But all my attempts even in the DB failed!
