    I am trying to resolve two permission problems:

    1. I would like to limit options on a menu by group, but would like to specify two groups - can this be done? (If so, what is the syntax?).

    2. I am also trying to specify a specific gallery that each group can view. I have given both groups permissions to view galleries, then I was going to limit the menu options so that they only see the appropriate gallery. Is this the best way to do this?

    2) No, doing it your way, group A could still view group Bs gallery by changing the URL from galleryId=2 to say 3. The best way is to remove those permissions and assign them on the individual galleries by clicking on the key icon on the list gallery page.

    I tried commas and semicolons, but no luck. Decided to assign a single (new) group and add this to other groups.

    I've done the same with the galleries (i had tried your suggestion - found it only worked if i cleared the 'permissions' from the menu option.
