    Hi, recently updated to Tiki Wiki 26.2 and have noticed that registered users cannot see images in forum posts. I have been through permissions and cannot find any obvious problem.
    can anyone give me any insight what the problem might be. Or show me an example of permissions that may allow registered users to see images in forums. Registered uswers can see images in blogs etc…

    This has me baffled.

    Hi Bernard, yes admin can see images in forum. The image will open in a url as well. I have not got round to amending the htaccess file yet.

    What do not understand is registered can see in wiki and blogs but not in forums?

    Hi Joseph,

    I think there was a bug we had here on Tiki.org forums as well which caused the images in Forums to be loaded 1x1 pixel wide and high, basically rendering them "invisible". It might be already fixed in 27.x (same as this site is running currently). I have also noticed it was kind of intermittent issue hard to reproduce so sometimes the images loaded just fine and sometimes they were simply "gone". Please check your Forum page using the inspect element browser tool if the images are actually there but reduced in size to 1 by 1 px maybe?

    Hi Luci

    Logged in Admin can see the forum images perfectly well they are there. It is just that for registered users no image appears nothing. Though registered can see images in blogs, wiki, etc. Just not in forums...

    About Tiki26 commits or fixes, Tiki27.1 as not been released yet but I have doubt Tiki26 will be touched anymore. Tiki28 has been branched and I guess (wild guess) we are close to a Tiki27.1 release.

    May be you could try a fresher version of Tiki26 ?

    Else as Luci mentionned it has been fixed, you will need to install Tiki27.
