    same for me…

    so i copied the templates/modules/last_blog_posts.tpl into templates/styles/MYSTYLE/modules/last_blog_posts.tpl and modified the last conditional section (the if…else… about titles) just keeping: {$modLastBlogPosts[ix].title} and it works.
