Tikiwiki... HelpDesk (trackers) ?

Hello,

I need a tickets system.

A registred user ask a private question and a technical staff answer him (still privatly). A helpdesk in fact.

I don't know how i figured Tiki Wiki can do that...


In front of my new install... i don't see it.

I missed something ?

Hi yoni,

Have you looked into the TikiWiki Trackers.

Create a tracker with fields relating to the inital ticket question, and then helpdesk people can post comments until its resolved/answered

Its the way I do it on damosoft.net for my clients :-)

It surely work like you say.

I just don't get how the admin/editor close a answered tickets ?


I want to change a little the way it is displayed the comments are not enought separated from the question and other cosmetics.

I should do it throu "styles and CSS" or is there a template for the trackers item (first i need to gain access to the "apache owner files" :-)) ?

I usually do a mix of both CSS and TPL hacking to get things looking how I like.

I also need a system like this, but the problem for me is. I cannot deklare tracker fields, which are only editable for editors.

I want to have for example a field for open or close, and some other fields, which should only enditable for editors... can I do this?

Aoutch...

I have misunderstood how to use "trackers_feature".

I wanted to create one Trackers (ticket support) layout with different data for each of my customers for Helpdesk uses.

I don't want to build a trackers for each one of my user and i don't want my user to see others user private data.

For now i haev to build one distinct tracker for each one of them.

I'm lost ! redface
