oh no Fatal Error

When I was editing a blog, I wanted to put back in to the template the code to make the visitors number appear at the top (which I'd previously deleted to reduce clutter in the layour) by copying the similar code from another blog template.

Anyhow I broke it. It now says:

Fatal error: Smarty: in evaluated template line 6: syntax error: unrecognized tag: {if $tiki_p_blog_post eq "y" (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 381) in /var/www/html/tiki/Smarty/Smarty_Compiler.class.php on line 1857

And won't let me back into the edit blog screen nor will it display the blog in any way other than the list blog page.

Can someone tell me where/what to edit to fix this? I am not experienced with Smarty yet so any info is helpful. I just want to get my blog restored without losing data. Perhaps the location in the database or template structure where the edits to the template window in the edit blog screen are applied (then I could delete the code I pasted in there... if I knew where it was).

THANKS,

Kelly😢
