posting and html tags

posts: 8

Hi all,

I have read the few comments about html tags in posts not being accepted. I just want to use greater and less than symbols! I have tried the ~np~symbol~/np~ and some posts said to use [code]. Still can't see text in between my greater or less than symbols. Why? Will this be fixed? Our developers like using these symbols a lot. I would hate to dissappoint them...they get cranky.

Regards,
denmat

Try using the code plugin

{CODE()} {CODE}

See Wiki Help when editing

okay, this is weird,

I have done this {CODE()} text with a greater than and less than symbol {CODE} and still everything within the greater and less than symbols doesn't appear.

I have also tried useing ~062~ instead, and the &lt or &gt but still no luck. Seems that everything can be taken literally except the greater and less than symbols.

But on this wiki I can post <text> without a problem.

I am running 1.9rc3. Is this a bug in that release? I am using the same browser (opera).

The {CODE()} {CODE} plugin works fine in both wikis and blogs in 1.9RC3 but it does not work in forum posts for some reason it may well be a bug.

I achieved it on that last post by doing the ~060~text~062~.

That doesn't work on my wiki 1.9.rc3
