Quck Questions

I've set up a tiki wiki for me and my friends and but there are a couple things I can't figure out.

1. Can I change wiki words from having the question makr to underlining the word?
2. How can I increase the avatar size?

You don't say which version of Tiki you're using. If you are using v1.8.x you have to alter some PHP to change the size of the avatars, I don't know if the same applies to version v1.9.x.

Anyway, to change the size of the avatars, like thisQuestion you have to remove the hardcoded limit from the file lib/tikilib.php

Load the file and search for the line which says:

Copy to clipboard
function get_user_avatar($user, $float = "") {

A few lines below this is the code:-

Copy to clipboard
switch ($type) { case 'n': $ret = ''; break; case 'l': $ret = "img border='0' width='45' height='45' src='" . $libname . "' " . $style . " alt=\"$user\"/>"; break; case 'u': $ret = "img border='0' width='45' height='45' src='tiki-show_user_avatar.php?user=$user' " . $style . " alt=\"$user\"/>"; break;

Note the "width='45' & height='45' " parameters in two of the lines. Change this value "45" to whatever you want your new avatar dimensions to be. Or simply remove the the width & height parameters completely.

In addition, to be able to u/l larger avatars and have them scaled down if the are a above a particular size (128X128px in this example) open up tiki-pick_avatar.php and edit the following area where you see the number "48" in lines 66, 75 and 77:

Image
Copy to clipboard
if ($iwidth < 129 and $iheight < 129)
andImage
Copy to clipboard
$tscale = ((int)$size_x / 128); else $tscale = ((int)$size_y / 128);

this works in TW 1.9.0 (and likely 1.8.5 as well)
