sort articles --- by expiry date?

hi,

i do know how to show a certain number of articles of a certain topic:
(like the source of this tiki´s startpage)

but i would love to SORT them by various paramters.

-- to be precise:

i would neet to have the result of
- ALL articles
- of a SPECIFIC TOPIC
- SORTED by their EXPIRY DATE.

is that possible?
and what would be the syntax?

is there an infopage that gives a good overview
on all those "viewing" options. or a tiki that cleverly uses them?

thank you very very much in advance for an answer,
i enjoyed browsing the forums, and searching wikis, but could not find any hint.

thank you for the help!

as far as i managed to understand the process you even generated an extra php for my request! wush! thanksalot.

it took me a while to figure out where to find the php-modules.
(as i am not the server admin.) - but i exchanged them.

the display of articles works just fine!

minor mishap: since i changed the two files my tiki-wiki starts showing blank pages instead of certain edit-pages i requested... but - after a certain while - show the page.

i think it could be because i still use 1.8.5. (and these modules refer to 1.9.*), right?

still haven´t found anyone to help me update on the server
but i am learning... >:e)
