    • Fatal error problem

    I just finished uploading tikiwiki and chmodding the files and creating the db / user and when I run the install file I get this - Fatal error: Smarty error: in header.tpl line 2: syntax error: mismatched tag {/if}. (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 2284) in /home/wordhelp/public_html/tikiwiki/lib/smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php on line 1088


    The only far-reaching explanation I can think of is since I was having problems with my ftp client maybe it didn't finish uploading a file? Seemed like a wierd thing to cause a problem like this so I figured I'd post it. I searched around for about 10 minutes and didn't find anything so I'm hoping this isn't something you'v eseen a thousand times...well maybe I am because you could point me to the answer lol..

    Did you try re-uploading templates/header.tpl?

    Well now I feel stupid...that was probably the problem. Instead I reuploaded the entire thing and it's fine now. Thanks though. 😉
