Features / Usability

browsers

Hello,

I created my site using Firefox. When I view it in internet explorer, it looks different. There are arrows next to the last changes module.

Does anyone know how to make the site look the same in all browsers? I only use firefox. What other browsers besided internet explorer do I need to be concerned with?

The site in questions is glbtconnect.com.

Thanks in advance for your help!
😀

Some suggestions:

  1. Verify that your site validates properlyQuestion.
  2. Use http://browsershots.org/Question to test your site in different browsers.

I looked at your code, and it appears that the link for the items in the Last Changes module is being generated incorrectly:

Copy to clipboard
<td class="module">  <a class="linkmodule" href="tiki-index.php?page=Austin%20Travel" <!-- title="Mon 02 of Jul, 2007 [ 03:53 am UTC], by admin"> --> Austin Travel </a> </td>

You have a comment tag inserted inside your A HREF link — this what's causing the problem. Things to check:

  1. Did you modify the last changes module template?
  2. Where is the title for each wiki page being created (and why does it include the date/time stamp)?

Thanks Rick for your help.

I added the comment tags because I did not want that pop-up display to show. Is there another way around it? All I want is the link to the wiki page....no info on who created it and when. At least for right now.

I try to comment things out so that in the future I can put them back if I want to.

If you want to comment something from a PHP file, surround the text with {* and *} tags.

The <! and > tags should be used only with HTML files.
