Module visibility not working correctly

I have created a module that is only supposed to be visible to unregistered users. This module is assigned only to the anonymous group and has its visibility set to "displayed now for all eligible users even with personal assigned modules"

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I might check?

I have another custom module that is behaving correctly. So I thought I knew what I was doing.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Check that you have "Display modules to all groups always" disabled (at Admin > General > General Settings)

Thank you for the quick reply. The setting was already disabled.

I have an other custom module that is only supposed to be visible to registered users. This module is working correctly.

Do you have any other ideas? Thanks again; I really appreciate it.

Here is the website I am working on
www.Sohotoolkit.comQuestion

registered users for testing:
username: user
password: user

Well, you should have "Hide anonymous-only modules from registered users" currently disabled (under "Admin home -> General", or "Admin home -> Module". Enable it, and then you should stop seeing that modules only assigned to Anonymous group, when you are logged.

If so, could you help us to improve the documentation about Modules to explain this issue ?
Maybe at http://doc.tikiwiki.org/Module+AdminQuestion ?

Thank you for the help. I have updated the modules page in the documentation.
Welcome, wesman. And thanks for helping on doc. 😊
