My real question is about parameters, meta info, description or keywords for each page which can help Google, Yahoo, etc to browse more deeply the pages and its contents... is there something like this in TikiWiki ?

Thanks for your answer...

Hi Roberto;

I try to hide my sites more then advertise so I may not be much help here. However, here are a couple of links that may help.

Check out this page to learn how to set up your Meta Tags.

There is a good discussion about search optimizations here in the forums at SEO for tiki. This thread covers a lot of info and is a good read!

Ricks linked worked well because the web address is included in the search. When I tried a search for "basketball" the site in question did not show up in the first five pages I checked.
A search of this site and Doc.TW.O does bring up other relevant pages as well.
Hope that helps, James

Thank You Rick and James for your help and work !
Every link and tip helped me a lot to improve the new site !

James, at least in Basketball (125.000.000 pages yesterday...), no one makes a one-word search, and really my sites doesn't appears perhaps after the first million, I didn't tried.... but if you perform the search with at least a two-word phrase: basketball statistics or basketball analysis you'll find an eba-stats page in the first Google page.

Thank You All Again !

FWIW, Google values incoming links more than any of these (meta info, description, keywords, etc.) for rankings. A quick search shows only about 30 incoming links, mostly from only 3 domains.

Additionally, your site only has a Google Pagerank of 3 — very low. This may be another reason why you site does not appear highly in searches.

If you want to make sure that Google crawls all the pages in your site, you should submit a sitemap. See Google Webmaster Tools for complete information.

HTH,

-Rick
