Removing Modules Box

Is there a way to remove or hide the left modules box from my Tiki Site? The theme I am using (Planetfall) has the box moved to the right side of the screen next to the right modules box, it also has no modules and is leaving a large empty space on the page.

You can enable or disable the left and right columns by using the General Layout options on the Admin: Features page. Please see the docs, hereQuestion for details.

Thanks, that worked. However, some users of the site would like the bar enables and some would like it disabled. I have set the layout preference to say "user decides" but have been unable to find a place for an individual user to change this setting.

Well you have a problem it seems. (If you want to use Planetfall)

If you select "user decides" and have the column "enabled" in the admin area Rick mentions below you will get an option to "Show/Hide Left Menus"! This shows up in the top of the center section of the pages.

However, it seems this option does not show up in the "Planetfall" style. Try an other style to see if it is working for you.

I would think if you need this (with Planetfall) rather then no column you could add the required code to one of the tpl files. Maybe one of the other folk could tell you how and where to add it!

Users can control the modules in their My Tiki section. Please see the documentation, hereQuestion for details.
