Unable to upload images

I'm trying to upload images into my image gallery and it keeps telling that it's unable to upload. No indication as to why not. Can anyone help me with this?

Are you storing images in the database or file system? If file system, did you specify a valid directory, and give Tiki full write access to the directory?

I am storing them in a directory. Nothing has changed since I last upload photos except the loss of a domain name but I changed all the urls.

Are you trying to upload from work? There may be a limit on uploads on your network. Try uploading a really small picture (under 100kb) and see if that works. Or see if you can upload a picture from your home computer.

I think I figured out the problem but can someone remind me of what directories need the permissions changed to 777?

There is a list hereQuestion. If you are saving your images in a different directly, Tiki will also need write access to that directory, too.

I am trying to upload images and not sure where to create the directory.

Do I create a new folder and put it in the root folder. There is already an image, images, image2 and img folders. Not sure what the difference is between them all....but do I just make another image folder and put it here?

I know it is probably a silly question....just want to make sure I put it in the write spot....
