    We are setting up a TW install which heavily uses the forum. The inclusion of attachments, usually photos, is imperative. We have set up a separate directory for forum attachments and the attachments are going there, but their names are hashed. That makes them less usable for other purposes on the site.

    We are also concerned that the wiki, galleries, and forums have separate directories and different naming conventions.

    Is there a way to do this, or are we barking up the wrong stump?

    Have others met this challenge? Are there sites we could visit for ideas?

    If you want to link to the uploaded files from different Tiki feature areas, why not use the File Gallery. For each file that your users upload to the File Gallery, Tiki will assign a unique ID to that file. Then you can reference that file from anywhere simply by using that ID.

    Using a file gallery also makes your files "searchable" from Tiki's search engine.

    You can define a separate Folder for each Forum.

    I heavily modded the sources to remove the hash. Search the respective libs (maybe lib/commentslib.php) for
