    Hi everybody,
    I'd like to create some users with their own image gallery. Which permissions should be set in order to have a gallery manageble only by the owner and visible by all? or visible only by the owner's group ?

    You can assign the owner to a group which has permissions e.g.

    • tiki_p_assign_perm_image_gallery -> to assign other permissions to galleries and / or
    • tiki_p_upload_images -> to upload images in it.


    If other users belong to a group with only permission

    • tiki_p_view_image_gallery -> to view galleries,


    they can only see galleries, but not "work" with it.

    If you want to restrict the permissions only for some galleries, you can use either individual permissions for each public-closed gallery or work with categories.

    I think and I'm not 100% on this, but if when you create the gallery you choose the appropriate owner, you can then uncheck the box that says "Other users can upload images to this gallery" and that way, only the owner can upload to it.

    Other than that, I would say Rontu is putting you on the right track.
