Spreadsheet

I noticed in this site that ver. 5 will have have working spreadsheet, not just a table for numbers. Is there a list of math functions that will be available in the spreadsheet? Or could you post them here?

Much appreciated in advance.

gm

P.S. I am planning a web site development with heavy use of all kind of calculators. If I knew that a capable spreadsheet is coming, I'd rather wait for a couple of months, than doing the site "old fashioned way".

hi gm, and welcome to Tikiwiki comunity :-)

Former Spreadsheet feature in tiki is working again tin Tiki 4.2 and 3.5, and you can use javascript functions, as far as I remember (and I recall reading that documented somewhere in the Documentation of pages related to Spreadsheet pages.

New Spreadsheet interface in Tiki5 will use Jquery sheet, which has its own functions, afaik. You can read the documentation for JKQuery Sheet (linked from Tiki5)

I hipe you can help us improving that part of the Documentation related to the new Jquery Sheet interface and its functions, etc.

By the way, you might be interested also in (dev:PluginR)), where you can use all the power from R-project.org.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Hi all,

I'm trying to implement tax calculations in a spreadsheet, and I find that the formulas documented in
https://doc.tiki.org/Spreadsheet+jq#New_syntax_for_formulas
are not working for me, specifically the IF formula. I tried cutting and pasting the formula in the documentation, and it returned an error: Parse error on line 1, with an arrow pointing to the first cell reference.

Is there something I have to do to configure my spreadsheet to use the JQuery formulas?

Thanks!

JK

Tiki v9, BTW

Done, though, as a newbie, I might not be dealing with a bug in the software, but with a problem caused by that "big hairy thing on the end of it".
