    • phpBB Again

    Posted by Kent Barrett

I know there's a Wish List tracker on this, but it's old, so I thought I'd bring it up again and ask if anone has had any success integrating phpBB in any way.

Our situation is we have a phpBB that predates our Tiki and is still in use. This causes a lot of problems with login confusion and inability to search stuff easily. We want to kill off the phpBB and get everything in Tiki. But, we need to import the phpBB stuff and recreate the forum structure we have there as closely as possible.

We have some money to contribute to the effort. Anyone working on this can message or email me.

    Cheers,

    -Kent

just an idea, but have you tried the Tiki Integrator feature ? no guaranties it will work for you at all, just an idea 😊

Well, you know, it's not THE answer but it's certainly better than what we've got and keeps people on the site.

I almost have it working but something's not quite right in the links, see below. Any ideas?

Are you suggesting that you can use any forum like this...like SMF maybe?

    It's at tiki-admin_integrator.php

    Search the docs for Integrator
