state of webdav?

posts: 3 Greece

Hello,

I am trying to get webdav to work. My server is IIS7, MySQL 5.5.8, PHP 5.3.5 and Tiki 7. For clients I have tried Bitkinex, Firefox and Cyberduck on Windows 7 and the Finder and Cyberduck on a Mac. As URI I use www.my-domain.com/tiki-webdav.php

If I try to connect with a browser I see the link 'Open Tiki WebDAV as WebFolder'. When I click it, I get this:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'ezcBaseValueException' with message 'The value '' that you were trying to assign to setting 'propertyStoragePath' is invalid. Allowed values are: regular expression.' in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\my-domain.com\lib\ezcomponents\Webdav\src\options\backend_file_options.php:101
Stack trace:

  2. 1 C:\inetpub\wwwroot\my-domain.com\lib\ezcomponents\Webdav\src\options\backend_file_options.php(67): ezcBaseOptions->__construct(Array)
  3. 2 C:\inetpub\wwwroot\my-domain.com\lib\TikiWebdav\Backend\File.php(51): ezcWebdavFileBackendOptions->__construct(Array)
  4. 3 C:\inetpub\wwwroot\my-domain.com\tiki-webdav.php(77): TikiWebdav_Backends_File->__construct()
  5. 4 {main} thrown in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\my-domain.com\lib\ezcomponents\Webdav\src\options\backend_file_options.php on line 101

What is going on? Is property 'propertyStoragePath' being fed with an empty string? Why? How can I fix this? Unfortunately, my technical skills are very limited so I don't know how to debug / fix this.

If I try with Finder (Mac) I get back a generic error message that something is wrong.

Finally, if I try with Bitkinex (PC), nothing very dramatic happens. I don't see any directory structure and I cannot transfer any files, so I suppose I'm not really connected.

I would be most grateful if someone could answer and direct me towards a solution because I really need to get webdav working for my Tiki server.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi!

Sorry about the troubles.

Can you try a Daily Build from 8.x?

If that doesn't work, can you try installing Tiki on linux or on a Mac?

Thanks!

Thanks for your answer. Meantime I decided that my technical skills are not up to Tiki's requirements and have switched to Wordpress.

All the best for your efforts
