    • emergency problem

    i'm running 1.7 and not much has been done to it, but without having changed anything in a while, the site has started to lag... horrendously... but all the page generation times are generally the same. since this is hosted off my own computer right now to test it before moving the whole shebang to a server, i'm sure it's not a server problem. non-tiki pages load fast. http://localhost/Question feels like it's downloading some graphic-intensive page off 56k...

    can anyone help me please?

    Hiya!

    You could try popping into mysql and running the optimise table command. I think its easier if you have phpMyAdmin at your fingertips 😉

    But that has been reported to speed up tiki

    tried that. no-worky.

    well, it was time for a change anyways. i updated tiki to 1.8 - everything is happy once more!
