    Hello everyone,

    I would like to know if it is possible to add some fields to a wiki page.
    I explain myself.
    I build a collaborative website to discover classical music.
    There will be a category of pages which will be composers and I would like to characterise them : like the date of birth, the aesthetic...
    After for the piece of work i would like to add the fields : composer, type of piece, aesthetic, etc.

    All of those fields in order to classify them easily and make some research on them like show me all the pieces of this composer or show me all the symphonic pieces....

    Hello Mathilde,

    I don’t know all the details of your project, but from a first thinking;
    In Tiki fields means using Trackers.

    Instead of starting from Wiki page to add fields, I would start from Trackers, create the fields you need and use the type field that correspond to those fields (composer: text-field, type of piece: dropdown or item list, date: date, etc). And set for one of those fields Wiki page where you could insert anything you want in.

    Then for the output (display) and search you will benefit from many advanced features and option in Tiki.

    It is a longer way, but that’s how I will do it.

    Thank you, I tried to use trackers but it was not a success, it just add the form on the page and you could complete it at each time you refresh the page... I think I would study a little bit more the technique to arrive to something good...
    But if I know it is the good technique I would not be despaired so think you !

    I really mean the other way around to use the tracker feature (not the tracker plugin) to store your information then to use a Wiki page to display them (or use a type field wiki page per item).

    A bit complicate to explain that here.
    I intend next month (crossing fingers) to instaure weekly open office hours meeting where everyone could come and ask or discuss about Tiki. That would be a perfect discussion for this. 😉
